Heathrow to Oxford transfers — both directions
Book a private transfer between Heathrow and Oxford in either direction. Start with the exact Oxford address and the Heathrow terminal, then plan the collection around your flight and the people travelling. Use one journey plan for the whole party, including any additional stop and all luggage.

An Oxford arrival needs an address, not just a college name
Ask your accommodation or host for the full address, postcode and arrival entrance. A college visit, a hotel stay and a meeting in a university department may lead to different parts of Oxford. Check whether reception or key collection is at the place where you will sleep.
If your itinerary lists a college and separate accommodation, establish which comes first. Tell us about a planned key-collection stop before booking; do not assume it is part of a direct journey. If access to an entrance is restricted, agree a suitable nearby meeting or drop-off location through Customer Care. We cannot promise vehicle access inside a college or a pedestrian area.
Oxford coach or private transfer?
The Oxford Bus Company operates the airline coach service between Oxford and Heathrow. Check its stops, terminal arrangements, timetable and luggage conditions for the day you travel. A scheduled coach and a private car solve different parts of the journey: compare the stop-to-door leg as well as the main airport journey.
For a private transfer, enter the address you need to reach and choose a vehicle for the travelling party. For a coach, consider getting everyone and their bags from the stop to that address. Neither option should be judged only by the time spent on the main road: loading, waiting, walking and any changes also matter.
We do not claim a private car is always faster or cheaper. Road conditions affect both cars and coaches, and a headline timetable is not a guarantee that you will reach an appointment or flight at a particular time.
From Heathrow to Oxford
Include your arriving flight number, terminal and date. After landing, allow for leaving the aircraft, any immigration checks, baggage collection and the route to your pickup. Follow your booking’s collection instructions rather than treating an airport public meeting point as a promised driver location.
Keep the original confirmation and booking reference accessible. For an imminent pickup, use the contact details in that confirmation. The Customer Care page explains what information to have ready; the terminal pickup guide helps with arrival preparation.
From Oxford to Heathrow
Work backwards from the airline’s required airport arrival time, not merely its scheduled take-off. Confirm the departure terminal and agree the collection entrance. Have the group and luggage ready at the requested pickup time, allowing time to check out or return keys beforehand.
For an early departure, establish how the passenger can leave the building and reach the agreed entrance. If someone else is arranging the journey, share the reference, time, address and a contact number with the person travelling. Contact us if the itinerary changes; a message requesting a change is not confirmation that it has been accepted.
Luggage, families and returns
Include every passenger, checked case and cabin bag. Describe large or unusually shaped items before choosing a vehicle. Compare the published vehicle capacities and use our family and group preparation checklist if several people are packing independently.
Use Return in the booking flow for both directions. Review the terminal, date and pickup details for each leg; your departure flight may use a different terminal from your arrival. Enter both journeys as they will actually happen rather than assuming the outward details can simply be repeated.
