Luton airport transfers: the terminal, DART and pickup planning
London Luton Airport and Luton Airport Parkway railway station are separate places. For a road transfer to your flight, select the airport terminal as the destination. For a collection from a train, specify the station and agree the meeting point. Checking that detail prevents two people waiting in different places with the same journey in mind.
How the DART fits into a rail journey
The Luton DART links Luton Airport Parkway with the airport terminal. The airport describes the ride as taking less than four minutes. When comparing train and road options, check whether your rail ticket includes the DART and use the journey planner for your travel date. If you are arranging a direct road transfer, make sure the address has not defaulted to Parkway station.
Collecting passengers at Luton
Read the collection instructions for your booking before leaving the terminal. Luton publishes a dedicated Pick Up and Drop Off zone and alternative parking arrangements. Have your phone, booking reference and luggage ready when you contact the driver or customer care. If you are still waiting for a bag, give an update from the terminal. If the meeting point is unclear, describe the sign or entrance beside you and ask for directions before walking elsewhere.

Luton to your hotel, home or office
Enter the full destination address and postcode. For a hotel, use the property name from your accommodation confirmation; for an apartment, check whether you must collect keys elsewhere first. If you need an extra stop, raise it when arranging the journey.
Compare transport choices using that final address. A rail journey may work well if the destination is near a convenient station. Before an early flight
Use your airline’s check-in and bag-drop guidance to set your airport arrival target. Allow for the road journey and time to unload and walk inside. Check the date particularly carefully for flights leaving around midnight, and give the pickup time in local UK time.

Assistance, children and luggage
